Teacher Tote Bags
Canvas tote bags for teachers and school staff: daycare and Pre-K teachers, music teachers, school counselors, and room parents. The Teacher Appreciation gift that gets carried every single day.
The teacher gift that does not end up in a drawer
Teachers receive a lot of gifts, and most of them are ornamental. Mugs with apples, scented candles, small framed things. Meanwhile the actual job involves moving an unreasonable quantity of stuff between home, classroom, car, and back again: laminated materials, marking, craft supplies, a lunch, and the water bottle that never gets finished.
A good tote is the rare teacher gift that solves a real problem. Ours are cotton canvas with reinforced handles, sized for a laptop and a folder, and strong enough to still be in use next September.
Which size to choose
Most designs offer more than one option. Check the product page for what is available:
-
Cotton tote 15″ x 15″. The standard, and the usual choice for staff-wide gifts
-
Gusseted tote 18″ x 15″. Flat base so it stands up, and the right call for anyone hauling craft supplies or a class party
-
Premium tote 17″ x 14″. Heavier, more structured canvas
Teacher tote bags by role
-
Daycare and Pre-K teachers. Early childhood and nursery staff
-
Music teachers. Classroom, band, choir, and private instructors carrying scores
-
School counselors. The “Counseling Is My Jam” design

Buying for a grade level or a whole school
Totes are the practical choice for group gifts because there is no sizing to collect, a real consideration when a PTA is buying for twenty staff. They also look intentional as a set at drop-off and on field trips. Email contact@talluladesignco.com for group quantities, and allow two weeks in the Teacher Appreciation Week rush.
When to buy
Teacher Appreciation Week in the first full week of May is the peak, then end-of-year in June, then back-to-school in August. December is steadier. If you are a PTA planning a May gift, order in April.
Materials and care
Cotton canvas with reinforced stitched handles. Cold machine wash and hang to dry. Printed to order in Louisville, Kentucky, typically shipped within one to four business days.
