Comfort Colors shirts, and why we only use them
Most printed shirts are stiff for the first ten washes and then start to fade. Comfort Colors are garment-dyed, which means the color goes into the fabric after the shirt is made rather than before. The result is a shirt that feels broken-in the day it arrives and keeps its color through the kind of washing that healthcare and classroom work demands.
They also fit like a shirt people actually wear off-shift, which matters. A profession shirt only earns its place if the person wants to be seen in it at the grocery store, not just at work.

Sizing and fit
Comfort Colors run relaxed rather than fitted. Most customers take their usual size for a standard fit, or size up one for the oversized look that suits the garment-dyed style. Because every shirt is printed to order, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for sizing, so it is worth checking the size guide on the product page before ordering.
Materials and care
100% garment-dyed cotton, printed using direct-to-garment. Wash cold inside out and tumble dry low to keep the print and color. Note that DTG printing produces slightly softer color than the product photography, which is a characteristic of the process rather than a fault. Made to order in the USA, shipped within one to four business days.

Do Comfort Colors shirts shrink?
They are pre-shrunk and garment-dyed, so movement is minimal if you wash cold and dry low.
Should I size up?
Take your usual size for a standard relaxed fit, or one size up if you prefer an oversized look. Check the size guide on the product page, since sizing exchanges are not possible on made-to-order items.
Why does the color look softer than the photo?
Direct-to-garment printing on garment-dyed cotton gives a slightly muted finish. It is the same process that makes the shirt soft.
Can I order matching shirts for a team?
Yes, though you will need to collect sizes first. If that is impractical, matching tote bags are the easier group order.
How long does shipping take?
One to four business days to produce plus two to five in transit.

Are any purchases final sale?
Yes—because each item is made to order, all purchases are final sale. We aren't able to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect size selection. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please reach out to us—we'll be happy to make it right!
