Four printable thank you cards for a teacher, paraprofessional, speech therapist and occupational therapist, each with a jam jar illustration and lines to write on

What is in the pack

  • For our teacher
  • For our paraprofessional
  • For our speech therapist
  • For our occupational therapist
  • For our school counselor
  • For our school nurse
  • For our bus driver
  • For our school staff

Each card has ruled lines, because the part that gets kept is the sentence naming something specific, not the card itself.

How to print them

  • Paper: US Letter. Cardstock around 65 lb holds up better than copy paper, but copy paper works.
  • Settings: print at 100%, or “actual size.” Do not use “fit to page,” which shrinks the cut lines out of alignment.
  • Cutting: four cards per sheet. Cut along the dotted guides down the middle of the page.
  • Folding: these are flat cards, not folded ones, so they fit in a standard A2 envelope or a lunchbox.

Who gets which card

If your child has an IEP, the team is bigger than one teacher, and the paraprofessional is often the person who spends the most hours with them. Our guide to special education teacher and paraprofessional gifts explains how to split a small budget across a team, and what schools are actually allowed to accept.

For the related-services staff, we have longer guides for speech therapists, occupational therapists and Teacher Appreciation Week in general.

Using and sharing these

Free for personal, classroom, PTA and school use. Print as many as you need, for a class or for a whole staff. Please do not sell them or host the file elsewhere. If you would like to share them on a blog, in a newsletter or in a school group, link to this page rather than to the file, so people always get the current version.

If you want to pair the card with something

The card does the work on its own. If you want to add an object, the teacher tote bags, teacher shirts and special education gifts are made by a small family shop, printed to order in Louisville, Kentucky.
